For a real estate investment trust, governance has a direct role in overseeing the assets and decisions that support its business. It provides a framework for evaluating opportunities, managing risks, and considering shareholders’ interests as the company pursues long-term value.
FILRT’s governance framework includes board-level oversight of strategic, operational, financial, and compliance risks. Its published governance policies and corporate disclosures also give investors access to information on the company’s management, performance, and decision making processes.
These practices support accountability beyond the annual awards cycle. They help shareholders understand how the company responds to business conditions and exercises oversight over its operations.
As the Philippines’ first sustainability-focused real estate investment trust, FILRT continues to place responsible stewardship at the center of its business. Its fourth consecutive Golden Arrow recognition adds to a record of governance practices that underpins its responsibilities to investors and other stakeholders.
